Posse Season is here Please remember our neighbors who live around the Posse grounds. Remember there is a speed limit on the entry road of 10 mph. We have a couple of calls already this year from neighbors about speeding pickups and trailers and the dust it sends to our neighbors.
Please remind everyone you are riding with that we need to respect the road speed limit.
Posse members have a reputation of being good neighbors, so lets keep those good thoughts going for our 2010 season. " Ride hard, but don't let them eat our dust " --Chris W.

The Posse Court rode in the Umatilla County Fair kick off parade at Hermiston this past Saturday. The parade started at 6 30 p.m. and it was almost 2 hours before the Posse Court passed where parents and advisors were sitting. Hermiston really turns out with entries and participants for their parade. The Court and their advisors went to Hermiston before parents and horses to attend the Fair KickOff Pig BBQ. It was very warm in Hermiston. Outriding for the Posse were Miriam and Hanna Grant, Creta Darrow, Rachel Carson, the Great Guse Family , Debbie Tiedeman, Cody Armstrong, and court advisor Debbie Scudder. The Court is looking forward to a weekend off, before Muddy Frogwater weekend, the parade and our Court's luncheon on Sat. August 21st.
The Posse Court was the recent program and lunch guests of the Milton Freewater Rotary Club the Court gave their luncheon speeches, answered questions and showed off their different outfits for this year With the girls were Court Advisor Debbie Scudder and Chris Wallace and Court mom Pam Widner. Court Advisor Chris Wallace is past president of the Milton Rotary and served the last 10 years as secretary treasurer. Court Dad Larry Widner was last year's Rotary president.
We can not express how "Thankful" we are to be a part of this barrel racing world. Thankyou so much Pioneer Posse, VGBRA members, barrelracers, everyone that so generously donated to Addyson Stahls medical bills and funeral arrangements. All your support, is the only thing that has gotten us through this. You all are such wonderful people. Thankyou so very much! Thankyou Jackie Culham for arranging this special event for Addy!
The Pioneer Posse Court has a Facebook page, "Pioneer Posse Court 2010 " thanks to Court Mom Kelly Skramstad. Check us out and see all the Court's activities and postings. -Chris W.
The Pioneer Posse Arena is worked Monday, Wednesday & Friday from 8am to 1pm. With the hot weather, it tends to need a little more time in being worked. We are asking the members to please use the “upper” 4-H arena while the Posse’s arena is being worked with the tractor or there is water running in the arena. Everyone’s cooperation in this matter is appreciated. Thank you
